Tim Szarnicki is a native San Franciscan who grew up around people who were service oriented and operated out of a sense of vocation. Jobs were not just jobs, they were vehicles to serve the world and in so doing be shaped into the person the vocation called for. He followed that same approach and has spent the last twenty years working in the nonprofit industry where his work spans homeless services, domestic violence interventions, education, working within prisons, youth sports, after school programs, faith based services, and currently is the founding executive director of The Affordability Project where he currently is putting into action his theory of The Economics of Taking Less and proving its capacity to reshape markets.
